Weekly group Classes

WHERE SEWISTS ARE MADE!

After the intro class, students can join a weekly group, because consistency is what builds real skill.

Each class begins with a mini sewing lesson taught by Mrs. Allison. Students then spend the remainder of class working at their own pace at the stage they are at in the Sewing Bar Progress Program with guidance from our instructors.

Our curriculum includes 6 progressive stages, each filled with projects designed to build new skills and confidence. Once a student has mastered all of the projects in a stage, they'll complete a skills assessment with Mrs. Allison before advancing to the next stage.

By the final stages, students are confidently selecting fabrics, cutting patterns, constructing garments, and creating clothing almost entirely on their own.

Reading and writing independently is required for these classes.

Bigger projects carry over from week to week, so there is always something to come back to.
