NOTE: All students must attend an intro class prior to attending a workshop or camp.
Intro to Sewing
EVERY NEW STUDENT STARTS HERE.
For KidsRequired for all new students no matter their skill level!
In this 1.5 hour intro class, your child gets hands-on at the machine, learns the skills we use in every future class, and leaves with two finished projects: a custom tote bag and a matching scrunchie.
Students with sewing experience start here too, because this class covers the specific techniques the rest of our classes build on.
Ages: 6 and up
Length: 1.5 hours
Price: $80 per student
Included: all supplies, fabric, and sewing machines
Requirement class before they can join weekly lessons, holiday workshops, or any other classes.
Please note: Attending a Sewing Bar birthday party does not fulfill the Intro Class requirement.
Holiday Workshops

Holiday workshops pair a festive project with special touches that make class feel like a party.
Celebrate the seasons with our special holiday sewing events!
Throughout the year, Sewing Bar offers festive 1- and 2-day workshops featuring projects inspired by the current holiday or season. From Halloween fun and Christmas gifts to Valentine’s Day and Easter-themed creations, there’s always something fun to sew!
These workshops are perfect for students looking to learn a new skill, create a seasonal project, or enjoy extra sewing time outside of weekly lessons.

2026 Summer Camps
Themed camp weeks with projects kids are proud to show off. This summer's lineup:
Stuffie Sewing Camp:
Sew and stuff your own plush animals, including a stuffed dog and mermaid
Doll Designer Camp:
Design outfits for your doll and a matching one for yourself, ending in a fashion show
Coastal Cuties Beachy Camp:
Towel bags and wearable projects made for the beach, girls
Girl’s Night In Camp:
Pajama shorts, eye masks, vanity buckets, and more sleepover favorites
Back to School Camp:
Pencil pouches, water bottle holders, lanyards, and accessories for the new year
December Donate Day
Join us for a special day of sewing with a purpose! During this free community service class, students will create handmade items that will be donated to local organizations and families in need. It’s a wonderful opportunity to use your sewing skills to make a meaningful difference while giving back to our community.
All fabrics, supplies, and materials are provided by Sewing Bar, so just bring yourself and your creativity!
Prerequisite: Completion of our Intro Class is required before registering.
