Perfect for kids learning to crochet for the very first time!
Ms. Hannah will teach the basic crochet skills needed to get them started creating their very first crocheted stuffie!
From there, kids can continue building their skills through fun projects and future crochet workshops.

Intro to Crochet Workshop
Kids Crochet Basics + Stuffie Chicken Workshop
Wednesday, September 16
10:00 AM–12:00 PM | Crochet Basics
Join Ms. Hannah, with Ms. Allison assisting, to learn the basics of crocheting! Students will learn and practice chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half-double crochet, and slip stitches while creating their own swatch samples. Then, they'll begin designing their stuffie chicken and choosing their yarn colors.
Each student will receive their very own Crochet Take-Home Kit so they can continue practicing at home!
12:00–12:30 PM | Lunch Break
We'll all have lunch together in the studio. Please pack students a lunch!
12:30–2:30 PM | Sew Your Stuffie Chicken
Now it's time to put those new crochet skills to use! Students will sew their own adorable stuffie chicken and incorporate techniques learned during the morning crochet lesson. They'll finish their chicken by choosing between yarn or safety eyes and adding the stuffing.
Students will leave with their finished stuffie chicken + their own Crochet Take-Home Kit!
